Hi

I want to create a threshold on the tablespace when it is 80 % Used.

I want a mail to be sent on my email address or alertlog and also when user inserts data in that TBS he should receive the Alert of the same.

Please Advise

Use UTL_MAIL and a job.
Also use a trigger on DML on each table in the tablespace.

I am sorry to see that both the Search function on this forum & GOOGLE are broken for you.

Please be patient while repairs are underway.

...I want to create a threshold on the tablespace when it is 80 % Used. ...

You can also use OEM alert for this purpose.

try this on EM.

Database Instance: DBabc > Manage Metrics > Edit Thresholds > Specify Multiple Thresholds: Tablespace Space Used (%)

The 'AUTOEXTEND' will allow the datafile to grow automatically if more space is needed within the tablespace.
