Hi,
I would like to know the steps involved in migration a database from sybase to oracle. I browsed oracle website and found that Oracle Migration Workbench (OMWB) can be used to do that in the following URL.

http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/migration/index.html

Can anyone guide me in learning about this migration process. Is it the only way to migrate a database or do we have any other ways to migrate a database.

Thank You
Sarayu K.S.

You not only migrate a database you above all migrate applications.
For this you have to know the differences between concurrency, locking, transaction mechanisms between both rbdms.
