Hi All,
I am developing a small application for maintaining student information using
forms6i,OS : windows XE
oracle9i - Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
here my question is ...
I am new to DBA activities...
1)I would like to know what are the steps need to take for installing new application
this application will run on one machine only...
I have created one new user (admin) by connecting to system user and started creating
tables,...etc under admin.
2) Any space restriction for user?
3)how to extend table-spaces/extents once it's full
4)any auto extent feature? if yes, where to set this parameter?
Do i need to go for licenced version for such a small inhouse application?
Transaction related info : daily nearly 5000 to 6000 transactions in a table having around 10
columns in a table.
column max size is varchar2(<30)...
application has hardly 15 to 20 tables.
